Paul comes to RÄKI with a wealth of knowledge and extensive volleyball experience. As a Mater Dei alumni, he went on to play D1 men’s volleyball at Long Beach State. From there, he skyrocketed to playing for the National Team during quad of the Beijing Olympics. After playing professionally overseas in Greece, Puerto Rico, and Portugal, Paul ran his own VB club for over 9 years.

Jordan is a former record-setting libero at Northern Arizona University, where she was one of the program’s top defensive players. In her senior season, she set the NAU single-season record, ranking 17th nationally. She finished her career 3rd all-time in digs (1,457) and recorded a program-best 24 digs in an NCAA Tournament match. Anderson earned multiple honors, including 2 Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week awards and repeated All-Academic recognition. Jordan is also a specialist in Mindset and Performance for competitive athletes.

Carly holds 6+ years of coaching experience, helping athletes grow at every level. After training at UC Irvine, she continued to coach and serve as RÄKI Director for one year. Her achievements include AAU National Champion All‑Star Team honors, 2 Freeway League MVP titles, and 3 First Team All‑League selections. Carly coaches all skills and levels, with a focus on passing, digging, and game fundamentals.

A left-handed player, Kai brings a unique edge and strong all-around skill set to the court. He specializes in working with high-level athletes, with a focus on passing and hitting development. Kai takes a hands-on, all-skills approach to help players elevate every part of their game.

Beverly brings over 13 years of volleyball experience, including four standout seasons at Frostburg State. She earned multiple conference honors, surpassed 1,000 kills and digs, and became one of the program’s top ranked all‑time leaders. Her strong play and academic dedication shaped her into a coach focused on growth, effort, and confidence.

With over 12 years of experience, Zoe is a very versatile athlete and coach. She’s competed with D1 and D2 level clubs: Club H, Seal Beach VBC, APEX, and Unity VBC. Zoe was the #1 ranked Libero in her 2021 season, recognizing her as the CCCWVCA State Player of the Week, earning First-Team All-OEC honors and MVP, helping lead her team to an undefeated league championship. RÄKI kids love Zoe’s positivity and that she’s a lefty! Middle schoolers love her but Zoe works really well with advanced athletes as well.
Krystal is a highly experienced volleyball coach with 20+ years of coaching across all ages and skill levels. She has owned and directed multiple club programs for 15+ years, (Club Green and Gecko VB), and coached at Cerritos College. Krystal has worked as a Clinician for USC camps and served as a Director for Sinjin Smith’s Ocean-side Beach Camps. As a player, she was a Collegiate State Champion and earned MVP and All-League honors. She works with athletes from beginners to the collegiate level, bringing energy, experience, and a lifelong passion for the game.

Brooklyn has been with RÄKI since she was in the 8th grade. She starred at El Toro HS and Santa Margarita Catholic School, totaling 1,828 assists while earning All-CIF honors and multiple All-Trinity League selections. She helped lead EL Toro to a CIF Div III championship and ranked among the top assist leaders in CIF. She is currently a setter at APU, recording over 800 assists as a freshman and has added over 200 digs in a season. Known as a key player for her strong court vision and tempo control, Brooklyn specializes in setting and defense.

As a middle blocker, Avery had a strong collegiate career, earning First Team All-Northwest Conference honors as a junior and senior. Known for her presence at the net, Avery is consistently a top offensive and blocking force, with double-digit kills and blocks. She helped lead Puget Sound to conference championships in 2022 and was recognized as Most Outstanding Player and earned All-Tournament honors at the Southwestern Invitational. As a coach, she brings high-level experience, leadership, and a strong all-around game.

Abby is a high-level D1 Outside Hitter who competed at the University of Utah as well as Long Beach State, bringing experience across indoor and beach VB. A Los Alamitos HS Alum, she was named CIF Champion, CIF Player of the Year, and MVP with over 1,300 kills. During her time in Utah, she posted a career-high 17 kills and earned PAC-12 honors. At LBSU, she averaged 2.5+ kills per set and earned an All-Conference Honorable mention and academic honors. Abby specializes in hitting, all-around skills, and game development.

Cassie is a beloved coach at RAKI. She has a background in indoor and beach volleyball as both a setter and an opposite. During high school, she earned All-State and All-Region honors, while serving as Captain for 3 years. In college, she helped Vanguard win back-to-back NAIA National Championships. She then flew overseas and played for the Hungary team TFSE, guiding her team to a second-place finish in League 1. Our kids love Cassie for her encouraging coaching style and positivity.
